President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov left February 10 for Seoul on state visit by the invitation of Lee Muyng-Bak, President of South Korea.

During the visit, issues of further expansion and deepening the Uzbek-Korean cooperation as well as important regional and international problems will be discussed.

The sides are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at boosting interaction between the two nations in various areas.
